Get support from Rbean

How support can help you

At any time, you can create a ticket to get help from the Rbean team.

Don't hesitate to ask for help if you have an issue with the platform or if you can't find something. There are no dumb questions - only unclear interfaces and incomplete documentation. 😉

And if you simply want advice on the best way to use a given feature - that's fine too.

We are always happy to share tips on how to best implement a given pedagogical sequence based on our own experience with the platform.

How to create a ticket

Log in with an admin account, and click on the Tickets link in the left-side menu.

Left menu tickets link

On the Tickets page, you can then click on Create new ticket.

Support create new ticket button

This brings you to a page where you can write your ticket.

You can fill the Title and Message fields with your request, and then you need to pay attention to the following fields:

Support create admin ticket
  1. You indicate here whether it's a technical or a pedagogical problem. It helps us dispatch the ticket to the person in charge. (If you are unsure, pick "I have another problem".)
  2. You can choose to include staff members of your school, so that several people can track the ticket.
  3. This box must be checked. That's how the Rbean team is brought into the ticket to help you.

Ticket best practices

When you write a ticket, don't hesitate to give as many details as possible!

The more details we have, the more we'll be able to get back to you quickly with a relevant solution.

Here are a few things that you could consider including, particularly for technical questions:

  • What are you trying to do?
For example: I want to subscribe students to a session.
  • What steps did you take to do it?
For example: I went on the Sessions page and clicked on "Subscribed more students".
  • What happened that you were not expecting?
For example: I tried to select the new group of students I created but couldn't find them in the list.

And of course, screenshots are fair game. The more we can put ourselves in your shoes, the better!
